Large portions, attentive service.

A small restaurant tucked away not far from Oxford Street. It's well worth the effort of finding this place.

Visited early evening one Monday night and were obviously the first customers. Consequently the service was fast as was the arrival of our food.

The beer was cold and the portion sizes large.

Nothing was over salted so the full flavours came through.

Couldn't fault the service: discreet and courteous.

The place was a amazing find in the area. You usually don't walk by this street and spot the place. But you should definitely make the plans to go here. The staff is extremely helpful. They combine your choice of meat with choice of sauce and adjust the spice level. We had amazing spread of food. The highlights were mapo tofu and beans stir fried in szhewan sauce. The sticky rice with dates was also something new but totally worth trying.

The taste is good at this Red Sun (小東方)restaurant. We ordered 1.stewed beancurd with minced pork in pepper sauce(麻婆豆腐)2. water bamboo fried meat(茭白炒肉)3. noodles mixed with scallion(蔥油拌麵). The first two are recommended. While the third one is too sweet for us.
